Take Something Apart- Color Makeover (Portfolio Project #9)

So I've decided to include this in my portfolio for be honest, but I wanted to give it a color makeover. I'm including the old version for comparison.I just wanted something slightly less loud and in your face... Thoughts? Is it too baby-boy baby-girl looking now? I like the ideas of these grays with other muted tones, but I don't know if its there yet. I would much appreciate all thoughts.
