Feel the fragrance of the middle ages! When I was traveling in Europe, I did not expect that Brugge would give me one of memorable time. I and my friends just picked up Brugge. But, it was much better than we expected. Have you ever thought that you do not want to think about anything and you just want to stay with peace. If you are looking for the place which you can do those things, I highly recommend to go Brugge. Brugge is like a town in a children’s story. Most people in Brugge had been enjoying living in affluent.
If you go to Begium, maybe first place would be Brussel. You can reach Brugge from Brussel after a hour by train. There are three ways to travel around Brugge. First, take a city tour bus. There is a regular city tour bus. So you can easily look around Brugge sightseeing. But, I do not want to recommend to do this, because it looks like old people usually use this. Aren’t you young?! Let’s do more fun thing! Second, take a boat. It looks better than taking a city tour bus. There might be more exciting experience. However, it is limited to be able to see Brugge. Brugge has more beautiful things which are hidden. Third, use a bicycle. There are many people to ride a bicycle. I think that it is the most appropriate way to look around Brugge. Also I did that.
You can borrow a bicycle at the train station. If you go for 20 minutes, there is a popular square ‘Markt Square’ which was selected by UNESCO. There is the symbol of Brugge. It is a 88m bell tower. If you want to see a real Brugge, you have to go up to the bell tower. You will be able to see the best view of Brugge there. After watching that, if you go through the center of Brugge, you could meet peaceful scenes. Those peaceful scenes gave me a peace and an allowance. I couldn’t be happier, because I could just feel free and peace without any complicated thoughts. You know... Sometimes we feel that we do not want to think about anything. Brugge is the right place to make you free. After 40 minutes, you will see a canal with windmills. When I watched them, I thought that windmills were in Amsterdam as well as were in Brugge. It was good, because I gave up to go Amsterdam for Brugge. I just laid myself down on a lawn near the windmills. Nobody there. I and my friends ate a lunch with such a peaceful scene. I want to feel it again.
Some people say that Brugge is like the art gallery without a zenith, because the whole of Brugge has the sweet scenes of the middle ages. If you really look for a peace of your mind, why don’t you go to Brugge? And feel free! I hope that you can have a chance to go Brugge!
