Island Doll Wallace BJD Standing
Here he is unwrapped, standing without a wig or eyes. Very solid stander. Also, nice bod. Great abs and leg muscle definition. Very happy with this guy, he poses great sitting too.
I ordered him in island skintone. Compared to my normal skin Ellen, he is slightly pinker and slightly less yellow. Both skintones are lovely and it's hard to say which I prefer!
I have bad luck with eyelashes. The default eyes he came with were too big for his eye sockets (I've contacted Luxour Academy about getting them replaced), so I've used some acrylic eyes I ordered in a four-pack off of e-bay a few months ago. Unfortunately, they have a protruding cornea which, while creating a more realistic-looking eye, has caused me to detach both eyelashes in the middle. *sigh* I am just not good at installing eyes. I do love the darker blue of these eyes on him though!
Actually, when the opportunity arises (when I hopefully get my replacement eyes), I may just pull the eyelashes off as they may be a bit long for my taste. We'll see though, maybe they'll grow on me ^_^ Otherwise I'll just glue them back on like I did with Ellen.
