Farewell, old Friend!
After more than 80 years of service in Philadelphia, PCC trolleys will make their final run this Saturday, January 25.
The conversion of Route 15 to bus operations is supposed to be temporary. But that's what SEPTA said 20 years ago as it "temporarily" converted many routes to bus, took down the wires, and removed or paved over the tracks.
Here, we see Route 15 PCC II 2329 making the turn from Lancaster onto Girard.
