13/30 Northern Cardinal (female)
This tree branch is actually in the foreground, although it looks like it is in the background to me. It is a dead branch standing in an empty umbrella stand. I got the idea to add a branch to a pot or container near my feeders so that when the birds perch on it then it will make it look more natural in your photos, as if they really are perched on a tree. In the case of this photo, it kind of got in the way, although it looks okay here. I have yet to get a bird to perch on it!
