Realization

While crossing the northern roads of Vietnam we had to stop in a small village of barely ten houses to repair a puncher.

 

Set back from the road this lady worked methodically on her spinning wheel the whole time we were there. Calmly feeding the thread while peddling with her feet.

 

Then just as we where about to leave she stopped. For a moment she sat transfixed staring off over the hills.

 

As we set off her wheel was spinning again and she was calmly feeding the thread.
