[2297] Copper Underwing (Amphipyra pyramidea)

Catch Report - 24/07/11 - Farmland/Back Garden - Hertfordshire

Still getting good results, with temperatures a bit down lately, not much to the trap. Rosy Rustic was a tad early and a Pug species which could be new (as i'm struggling to id it) Phoenix was the best, being my second only ever record and a first for this garden and Least Yellow Underwing is always an uncommon visitor.

 

Helcystogramma rufescens was a new Micro moth for me.

 

The Pug sp. turns out to be a Maple Pug, a new one for me.
