Brown Hare
The alarm went off at 5.20am this morning, by half 6 I was sat in a frosty field in the dark waiting for the sun to rise. A Barn Owl was quartering the field but it was just a little too dark to focus on. I sat in the hedgerow waiting for the Brown Hares to appear. I was feeling positive as they had been there most evenings as I had driven home from work.
I didn't have to wait long before they started appearing from the hedges. There was at least 4 Hares coming and going but I managed to get relatively close to these two
