Domestic Violence Prevention at MacArthur High School

11th graders at MacArthur High School listen to Mentors in Violence Prevention speakers. The mentors went to all three high schools to talk about leadership and what it takes to be a leader. The program supports the concept that working towards and practicing healthy behavior increases our sense of community and our likelihood to intervene when something bad is taking place. MVP looks at violence in all aspects - sexual harassment, dating violence and bullying - and how students can make a cultural change to reduce the violence in their school and their community.
