M13 Planewave
Here is the first image obtained using the new Planewave 17.5" scope installed at the TWoSE Observatory. The target is the Great Hercules Cluster or Messier 13. It is a 30x30sec image (total exposure 15 minutes). Each subframes was collected using an unmodified Canon XSi DSLR at prime focus. No autoguiding (the polar alignment of that scope is now within 1 arcmin of the Celestial North Pole). Alignment and stacking in DeepSkyStacker. Artificial flat subtraction, level and curve enhancements, colour saturation in Photoshop. Not bad! :-)
