To make sure I had the right measurments for the case I made paper template first to test for a snug fit. When I was happy with the deminions I traced the paper template onto the wool and cut it out. During the sewing process I made an error, and sewed the wrong panels togeather. This resulted in the seem running down the side and the top flap in the wrong position. At first this seemed to spell disaster but was realy a blessing in desguise that resulted in a much neater look with two "clean" panels seam free opposed to my origional design that involved the seam running down the back in the middle of the back panel. The top flap was then removed and sewn in the right place, with one button and a length of string finishing the case.
