This species is a leafless, warm grower from Jamaica. Who needs pesky leaves when you have adapted your roots so that they are capable of photosynthesis(process by which light energy, sunlight, is converted into chemical energy) !! And that is exactly what this species has done, completely bypassing the need for foliage. Yea, orchids are amazing.
