Prompt no. 6 - "Wear a neutral bottom combined with a pattern/print top"
A classic case of fitting the prompt to what I wanted to wear anyway, which was my new not-just-sweatpants (useful for free movement in an AT lesson) and something warm enough for band practice at the Edge, which can be very cold in the colder months. But as it turned out we weren't practising at the Edge. We were doing a soundcheck in the Brixham Theatre, where we have a gig tomorrow night. (That's where this picture was taken - I sat the camera on the stage.) It was a lot warmer in there than the usual place and I kind of wished I could take the woolly jumper off, but the top/bra combination underneath would not have worked on its own. Anyway, the songs went pretty well, especially the one that is usually a duet between a male and female singer but the male one couldn't make it today, so the female singer sang it all. I told her afterwards, quite honestly, that I thought it was the best I'd ever heard - she's got a nice bluesy voice whereas the man can be a bit "showmanlike."
And then I heard a bit of gossip that someone (who by a process of elimination is almost certainly the Moany Old Woman) has decided to quit the band because she's not happy about the way it is being run. If it's true, that will probably make things a lot more peaceful!
Lipstick - L'Oréal "Shopping Spree"
Earrings - made from a necklace
Jumper - H&M/charity shop (old, but feeling very "of the moment" again)
Unseen black top with crossover straps at the front - Body Flirt/charity shop
Trousers - Busby&Fox (first all-day wear)
Socks - probably H&M
Hi-tops - Crosshatch/TKMaxx
