CAAD9 Weight

I finally threw the bike on the scale and took a pic. My Fuji weighed 17lbs 15oz the day I took it apart. I put a fresh rear tire on today because I noticed my rear tire was worn down to the nylon casing. It caught me by surprise because the tire never squared, and I never had a flat. The old tire was 37g lighter than the new one.

 

I'm happy with the weight of the bike. I could have easily bought a light carbon seatpost, stem, and handlebar, a lighter saddle, 23c tires, and put light tubes to drop another half a pound or so, but at my size I want a bike that I never have to worry about having things break or go flat on me.
