BOXING KANGAROOS
Just out for a little walk yesterday (Saturday 01/10/2011) with the wrong lense and maybe even the wrong camera (maybe needed a video) came across this scene of a couple of young buck Eastern Grey Kangaroos duelling for supremacy. They are young because they are not very big and the brawl was not quite as visious as it would haev been with an older more experienced, perhaps more ruthless buck was involved. The time was late afternoon, with the sun just disappearing over the horizon. I have had to crop a fair bit out of these photos to make them viewable here, as i said, the bigger lense would have been much better but I wasn't carrying it.
