Removal of the second of four spans of the old CN bridge (Brant’s Crossing Bridge) over the Grand River at Brantford, Ontario. Formerly, CN Burford Sub/Spur. Converted to pedestrian/bicyclist use in 1996. The first railway bridge to cross the Grand at this location was built in 1875 and replaced in its current form in 1913. Weight of this single span 249,000 pounds.
