P-40 Warhawk, Flying Tiger scheme

I actually built this the morning before I built the Typhoon. I was working on the air intake and when I found how fat I could make it I thought it would be perfect for the Typhoon. To keep the intake looking too fat on the P40 I ran the 1x6 tiles along the sides so the width was more consistent.

As Iron Sniper has already caught on to, the neck braces on the wings are not really lime, in fact now that I've told you that you can probably tell that almost half of the model is not actually lime. While I'm confessing things all the decals aren't really there either. :P Purists, call it what you will, blasphemy, paganism, or defacement of the brick, but I'm limited on both budget and time, and this saves me a lot of both. ;)

This will likely be my last new model for quite some time. I won't be able to get to my pieces till end of February and even then my being able to build and photograph anything over that particular weekend is unlikely.
