I made this photo of an American Library Association/San Francisco Public Library poster that states "Let Freedom Read" during our visit to our public library branch in mid-July 2025. Let Freedom Read is a bold statement in our current political environment where Republicans are attacking, ideas supported by books, reading, education, libraries, and librarians. Melody and I feel lucky to live in a state and in a city that promotes education and has many libraries that are open seven days per weeks with many programs t involve our community.
