I made this photo of a couple of the many Birds of Paradise that were in the backyard of our San Francisco home in early June 2018. You will see many more photos of these plants in our photostream. All I have to do to capture images like this is to walk down six stairs from our deck. Can't as for much more. As usual, I captured this image with my Canon Powershot SX50 set at spot focus.
