San Francisco is a city of hills. This October 10 Saturday in 2015, a few of us were lucky enough to view the weekend airshows during Fleet Week from a 22nd floor residence on one of those hills located at Gough and Geary Streets. Here is our friend, Donna, viewing five members of the Canadian Patriots aerobatic formation team breaking off - two to the left and three to the right - far ahead as they sped north. You can see several residential buildings in the foreground and Angel Island sticking up from San Francisco Bay. This was early in the Patriots flight show. In less than an hour from now, the U.S. Navy Blue Angels aerobatic formation team would begin their show to cap off the day's aerial demonstrations.
