In Memoriam

 

Le 6 septembre 1944

la First Special Service Force entra a

Roquebrune-Cap-Martin pour chasser l'ennemi

du sud-est de la France. La chaleureuse

reception des citoyens et l'assistance de la

Résistance française pour notre combat

ne seront jamais oubliées.

 

Cette plaque est dédicacée à la

mémoire des 66 membres de notre brigade

et des citoyens français qui sont morts

dans la campagne du sud de la France.

I Memoriam

 

On 6 September, 1944

the First Special Service Force entered in

Roquebrune-Cap-Martin to hunt down the enemy

from South-East France. The warm

reception from citizens and the assistance of the

French Résistance for our fight

will never be forgotten.

 

This plaque is dedicated to the

memory of the 66 members of our brigade

and French citizens who died

in the Southern France campaign.
