A metaphor for my current life
I hadn't intended on this shot - I was attempting to get a shot of my hair so that I could show my hairdresser how I wanted my hair when I go to see her in 2 weeks. I was watching the video " The Last Lecture" with Dr. Randy Pausch on YouTube, and whilst listening and watching, I thought, this photograph is a metaphor for where my life is currently. Due to my back issue, I live in the dark more than the light, and perhaps ... it's time for me to seek more of the light, to fight back the darkness that threatens to envelop my spirit on a daily basis. I am so glad for my Flickr friends, who daily show me their sources of light and bring such vibrancy to my day by sharing their photographs and lives and to give me hope and faith that I have not lost the fight.. oxox
