And here's my tablet desktop after a clean reinstall of Windows. Windows Vista is so easy to reinstall...it only took about 30 min! Of course getting my programs installed and everything set up just the way I like it took much longer....
I figured out what was causing the problem that prompted the reinstall. I have to give up universal ad-blocking via the hosts file: that's what was was causing the long hang on startup and the slow network connection. *Sigh*. If only Google Chrome had ad-blocking...
Instead of batch files to create specific workspaces for each class, I used Autohotkey scripts this time. Much tidier, no need to create special folders full of shortcuts.
