Nikkor AF 50mm F/1.8 D

The all-powerful and widely respected "Nifty Fifty, AF 50mm F/1.8 D was my third, and newest lens brought into my collection!

 

This is a totally different beast. My first prime lens has taken a bit to get used to! It will be successful in the objectives presented to it by me though, with a little practice.

 

I was hurting in these areas -

 

* Low Light

* Fast-focusing Accuracy

* Great depth presentation in everyday shooting

* Uncanny clarity and color representation

 

I needed something that could handle a lot more light than I had before and this certainly does that. I want to get into portraits and do street crawls and I want to have the ability to be lightning quick and razor sharp and keep it moving.

 

This lens can do all of that and more. Hopefully I'll be able to bring some amazing results soon.
