Photographed as a test for a Panagor Varioprox, a close-focus attachment that screws into the filter thread of an existing lens. Usually I avoid such gadgets like the plague, but this one is a little different in that it utilises three elements (I think) and has a focusing helical that enables focusing from 1.0m to 300mm. I wasn't expecting to be impressed by the results, but I was pleasantly surprised.
