Slightly different from today
Going through my dad's collection and I came upon a book about straightening the Chicago River and building the B&OCT and St Charles Air Line bridges. We are looking west from the new B&OCT bridge toward the PRR and GM&O. Curving toward the west is the CB&Q. The bridge in the back ground is Canal Street. Picture is dated 1930 and was taken by H. N. Wilcox. This scene looks a little different today.
