Selfie Result - and a quick view of the process as I set out to try a portrait set up that I saw in a strobist tutorial on line.
While I've focused on Floral images for the past several years, I decided to learn how folks get such awesome portraits using light to add dramatic effects. Yesterday was my first serious effort. I learned that blending vintage glass with todays digital technologies will take a lot of practice. It is truly a trial and error process for the newbie, as everything has to be done in manual mode. I think the images below illustrate that rather clearly. And I've got a TON to learn!
