Tying down at Avalon
An eastward Wisconsin and Southern (WATCO) train led by HLCX SD40-2 6313 is in the process of tying down at Avalon, Wisconsin on July 7, 2019. Our primary objective this day was to get the UP freight crossing the Tiffany Bridge, but we heard this train get a track warrant out of Janesville and headed north from Clinton to intercept him. The bridge over the tracks west of town was closed, and we weren't able to get him at a crossing further west, so this is the best we could do photo-wise.
