Playhouse Cinema, Elgin 1983

Designed by Alister G MacDonald, this was a larger more elaborately decorated sister cinema to the Playhouse, Montrose and the Playhouse, Peebles. All three cinemas, which were built for Caledonian Associated Cinemas, shared decorative and design features. The Elgin Playhouse survives in subdivided form.
