My concept for the Timeline relates to my Term-Long project on Global Warming. I picked up the shape of leaves to represent and show the data about storm frequency and temperature. Storm frequency and temperature are both shown as timelines, and the event I focus on is the 2005 hurricane Katrina, which ties in as evidence of Global Warming. There are many levels to view the Katrina event. It was a disaster to a city and personal property. On a social level, it showed how a country could neglect its poor, because the very poor black people were left homeless and ignored. On a political level it showed the government's priorities such as using the National Guard to fight in another country instead of helping to protect and rescue people from the disaster. It also showed how a government can be so disorganized (such as FEMA). Please note that the text is just temporary and will be replaced by graphical timelines and text that explains the timelines.
Any comments, would be really appreciated.
