Elastic for bottom- decisions

Originally I had planned to use this great stitch through elastic I had bought ages ago. Well it turns out that I had loved it quite well and did not have enough! The only elastic I did have was rough and thick. I was on a roll so I just decided to use it. I made a casing for it out of the fabric, you can see that at the bottom.

 

Now if you're less endowed, you might be able to get away with a C/L band just by itself. It just wouldn't be enough support for me.
