Cliffs of Nyoka

Just south of Lone Ranger Rock is this widely filmed rock structure, which takes its name from the Edgar Rice Burroughs heroine Nyoka, featured in two serials shot at Iverson: Jungle Girl (1941) and The Perils of Nyoka (1942).

For more about the dramatic sandstone boulders and other features of the Iverson Movie Ranch — the most widely filmed outdoor shooting location in the history of movies and television — please visit the Iverson Movie Ranch website and the Iverson Movie Ranch blog.
