Point Arena Lighthouse stands tall and proud on the Northern California Coast.
At 115 feet tall, it's the tallest lighthouse on the American West Coast ( tied for that distinction with Pigeon Point Lighthouse )
It was built by a company which specialized in smokestack construction, which is why it kind of looks like one.
This lighthouse has been undergoing major restoration in recent years. It looks better now than ever.
I used a kite ( G-Kites Dopero ) to fly the camera.
