Point Wilson Lighthouse
Point Wilson Lighthouse, Port Townsend Washington.
At fifty feet tall, the Point Wilson Lighthouse is the tallest lighthouse on the Puget Sound. It has been an aid to maritime navigation since its Fourth Order Fresnel lens was first lit 101 years ago in 1913.
I used a kite to fly the camera. The kite I used was my well-worn Levitation Light 9' Delta, modified for higher winds with a shortened ( 40" ) spreader spar.
