Bleeding heart
So glad i saw this today .. i didnt hold hope i would see this group again as last year it was rather sparse.
When i took the original plant from our childhood home it looked
like its roots were punky probable cause, every time i visited my home helping out dad, i looked at mums plant.
Every year it looked like shit every year getting worse not to mention obvious dog piss covering the leaf's so when i removed the plant from the ground
it fell apart.
This was a small clump i really didn't think would do well, so i gave it a chance admittingly the portion of plant still struggles here.
* personal note not tried by me yet : Bleeding heart prefers humus-rich, moist soil, with lots of organic matter, but it is not too particular about soil pH. It prefers a slightly acidic soil, but will do fine in neutral soils. Spread a 2- to 3-inch layer of organic matter, such as compost or well-rotted manure, over the existing soil.
