Normally, I wouldn't post pictures of my dog. But, I'm simply blown away by how well the new Kodak Portra 400 handled this shot.
After seeing a film shot in Kodak's Vision 2 film (Harry Potter), I wanted to see how well this Vision 3 based film handled a side lighting shot like this. So, I put my dog on the kitchen table, opened the curtains up, and used the "stay!" command to keep him still. He wasn't happy about being up there.
It was well worth the effort. Once scanned, color balanced, and slightly saturated, I was stunned by the results.
