Old Enchanted Forest Abandoned Candy House
This is an abanonded structure of the orignal Enchanted forest in Ellicot City Maryland. Many of the structures have been removed from this location and re-located and repaired and re-painted at Clark's Elioak farm (also located in Ellicot City).
On this day, my Mom and I went to the old location and the new location where a wonderful group of people re-located many of the orignal structures based off of Fairy Tale Stories. (This structure is a re-make.) it had The 3 bears, Old Woman in a Shoe, 3 Pigs, Humpty Dumpty, Jack and the Bean Stalk, and other not-so well known tales such as, Red School House, Merry Miller, Toot The Tug Boat, Willie The Whale, and Easter Bunny's House.
This photo was taken through a gate plastered with NO TRESPASSING signs. We went in July when the trees were full and we plan to go back and look at the abandoned location when all of the leaves are off of the trees and maybe we can see more.
It was so erie seening glimpses of this delapidated fairy tale world.
And if we get brave, I am sure that we will go and jump the gate... *wink*.
