The contest crit (184 points, placed 6th):
Rhythmically and Notationally the band are doing well, however it doesn't feel that brightness and energy needed throughout this opening section.
Scherzando: A good feel to this and is generally handled well.
Serioso: Ensemble no always together here!
Moderato: Good flow, well done Euphs! Tuning is still a problem, pity as this has good shape.
11: Rhythmically insecure cornets
12: Euph does well! Balanced finish.
Alla Marcia: Bright in tempo and Energy from the band and a strong finish to the piece.
I was troubled constantly with intonation throughout your performance, this was a pity as there were some good moments.
