Managed to get out for a couple of hours today to test drive the new Nikon 300mm f/4. Of course I had to go looking for some Swainson's Hawks, my favorite bird to shoot. Found some at the north end of Jumping Pound Rd. So far I'm liking the results. I didn't touch any of these pics just to show what the lens will do. Just think what could be done with just a little bit of PS work.
The only Red-tail that gave me any face time today.
