A new head chef ? - 9/365

I'm the cook of the household, although my wife makes soup to die for !

Tonight though, our son, Lewis decided he would make dinner.

I have shown him how to make risotto before and tonight he made a chorizo & butternut squash risotto that was quite frankly, as good as anything I could make, if not better.

This makes me feel a few things:

1. Hurrrumph

2. At last !

3. That's my boy

4. mmmmm.. time for wine !

 

Needless to say number 4 won the day.
