The objects I love...
1) Old fashioned skis - these remind me of the years of growing up on the ski hills, from ski team to long days of family bonding on the slopes. Skiing (and snowboarding) still provide amazing opportunities for our family to bond.
2) The fireplace - it's simply cozy, warm, and inviting. I love the adobe style and the ledge to sit on in front of the fireplace.
3) The rock wall - this reminds me of my grandparent's house on Lookout Mountain. This is perhaps the home that I holds the happiest memories of my early childhood.
The object I hate...
1) The wild raccoon - first of all, this is just plain ugly and scary. Also, it reminds me of the period of time that my mother and I made these horrific animal statues and tried to sell them at craft shows. This was a relatively unhappy time for me.
