On New Years Day I visited the Imperial War Museum. Incredibly enough this place is just down the street from where I live and yet I'd never been there. It's going to be closed for a few months for some refubishment work and to add some new galleries, so we decided to check it out before we missed our chance. It has some incredible galleries on what life was like in wartime Britain, as well as a great "spy section." It's borderline humorous to look at what was considered advanced technology in the 60's and 70's spy world. Today our smartphones can do all that and more and who knows what technologies MI6 is using today. This photo is a 3 shot HDR taken handheld on our way home - the light was beautiful. The building re-opens in July 2013 if you'd like to check it out.
