Dedicated to Hamish MacInnes; Mountaineer, Member of Glencoe Rescue Team, Founder of SARDA(Search and Rescue Dog Association), & Author. A man who has dedicated his life to the Scottish Highlands.
As a past member of Derby Mountain Rescue Team I have carried casualties on the excellent MacInnes stretcher.
I have enjoyed reading Hamish's world class International Mountain Recue Handbook and several of his books including Callout, and Beyond The Ranges.
A great memory of this man was watching the BBC outside broadcast of Hamish & Joe Brown climbing a sea stack - tremendous television & climbing including two of the characters of British climbing.
