Buffalo Airport - Going Nowhere
The 5.30am departure still at Buffalo 7hrs later. Now two flights to PHL had been delayed with passengers being kept updated by proactive US Airways staff. Terrence Costello of US Airways calmly cancelled the first flight and filed a new flight plan to Washington DC so those passengers who wished to could get close to their destination and then make their own arrangements to get to Philly if they wished to.
Terrence was ably backed by Cathy R. who was making alternative routings for passengers such as myself who had further flights on from Philly. With the help of the US Airways office Cathy got me on a flight out of Toronto for the following day, and I was happy to drive to Toronto as there was not likely to be flights for 24-48hrs via PHL.
A big thank you to Terrance & Cathy for being very professional in front of a number of selfish "It is all about me" travellers who didn't wait to wait their turn or listen to the instructions being given to them.
