Fervenza do Ézaro
If I understand correctly the River Xallas in Galicia is the only river in all Europe that flows into the sea in the form of a waterfall.
This Waterfall's are named do Ézaro. What is curious about it is that many years ago an electric plant was built next to this waterfall you can see in the picture. The water of the river was diverted to a number of pipes that produced electricity, as a result the waterfall stopped to flow. Now the waterfalls are being restored, and I think they let the river flow down the waterfall from Spring to Autumn.
Things that only happen in Galicia, we have the greatest riches, but we don't appreciate them and waste them...
