Yagua Chief
The Yagua Indians deep in the Peruvian Amazon were hospitable to us. They have an incredible ability to use their blow dart guns to hunt monkeys and other animals. They can hit a monkey from 100 yards away with the dart that is laced with the curare that comes from the poinson dart frogs in the area. As you probably know this causes paralysis of the victim even if inoculated w only a little poison - it is very potent!
We got to shoot the dart guns by blowing into them. My first try was ridiculously poor. But after 2-3 shots I was able to hit a tree that was a foot wide from 10 yards out. I'm glad I don't need to hit a monkey or bird 100 yards away to eat!
