Classical and Neoclassical in Fano, Italy

Below is part of the Roman Arch of Augustus, built in 1 AD in the Classical style, and behind it is a Renaissance period structure representing the Neoclassical style that was inspired by the Greeks and Romans around 1500 years later. And I dropped by for a visit 500 years after that! Hard to wrap my head around. This was my first encounter with a Roman building.
