Hastings Pier Re-build
Following the destructive fire in October 2010 Hastings Pier Charity, a Community Benefit Society, has been undertaking the project to rebuild and reopen Hastings Pier.
This picture was taken in July 2015 showing the work progressing. Timber stacked ready for the decking. This view is looking in the direction of Beachy Head, which can be seen on the misty horizon.
The pier is scheduled to re-open in March 2016.
