The Corinthian Arch, 1765.

Grade l listed.

 

60 feet in height, 60 feet wide and modelled on ancient Roman triumphal arches. Located at the northern end of the Grand Avenue at the top of a hill.

The arch contains two four-storey residences originally for game-keepers. The flanking Tuscan columns were added in 1780.
