An uncertain future?
Speculation continues to mount regarding the future of Bakerbus' operations, with sister Island Fortitude subsidiary Eddie Brown having abruptly ceased running its local services not long ago and various rumours doing the rounds concerning Bakers. The most credible is that the bus arm of its business has been sold to another local operator. No doubt the New Year will see things become clear... or maybe not. For now Plaxton Primo MX07 BAV is seen in Newcastle bus station, itself a returnee from another Island Fortitude subsidiary (Hendersons of Hamilton) which went bust not long ago...
